Josh lay very still for his treatment again today so it didn't take to long. He is still suffering with his back, and we are told that this is unlikely to improve until treatment stops.
We spent some time talking with some other people (outside of proton!) who are staying at the same b&b as we are. They told us how brave, inspirational and amazing we are and that they didn't know how we do this. The simple truth is that you have to get through it and you have to do it, there is no alternative. Despite the numbers we see daily in reality childhood cancer is rare. Meaning 99% of people will never have to go through it and therefore can't relate. They seem to think we are some sort of superhuman just to get up in the morning but the reality is nothing like that. The reality is just taking it a day at a time and just getting on with it all as best as we can. That's all we can do.
We are looking forward to a weekend that is hopefully a bit sunnier than today!
