Day three of treatment

Thursday started with a lie in for all which is one of the advantages to Josh's treatment being in the afternoon!!


Josh's treatment went well again, but it is still making him feel unwell over night sadly. The doctor's have agreed to prescribe some anti sickness medication for him so we'll see if that works!


Josh enjoyed some time playing with some new friends at the proton centre as the "blue room" (his gantry) had a delay. Josh made the most of the time helping his friends with a jigsaw whilst we made the most of the free coffee!!


In the evening Lonnie & Rachel joined a number of other couples who are patients / carers at the proton centre for dinner at Biscottis. We were told is was the best desert in Jacksonville, we weren't disappointed!! We both had the largest slices of cake ever and they were both delicious!
We did spare a thought for Rev Tiff (Rachel's uncle) who is currently doing a sponsored weight loss to support us financially with the trip, but decided that we should eat is on his behalf!!
