Sadly Friday didn't get off to the best start... the Proton Institute had a problem with the machine meaning they were running at least 4hours late! We decided to use the spare time to visit the Cummer museum of art and gardens followed by a skype chat with Grandad Derek (Rachel's dad!) as it is his birthday!!
Treatment was over quickly after the long wait which didn't leave us with much time to drink coffee! We did have time to chat with the family from Reading who we watched some of the England v Sweden game with!
We also had a nice chat with Kim & Heather today (Josh's child life specialist & his social worker) who helped us arrange next weeks appointments!
We spent the evening at the cinema where we saw Madagascar 3 - would recommend it to everyone!
