Day 29 has arrived, last but one treatment.
Today we met with Kim to discuss Josh's graduation party, as well as the changes that we have seen in him over the past few weeks. Josh has become much more withdrawn, unhappy and generally hasn't been feeling well as the past couple of weeks have gone on. We're hoping that this will pass with time, although if it is a side effect of treatment it could last some months after we return to the UK.
Whilst waiting for Josh's treatment we were able to catch up with many friends who we hadn't seen for a few weeks, as well as of course drink more coffee!
We met a couple of new families today who had arrived to start their pre treatment tests, we've found it's easy to spot the newbies as they are the ones who have a very blank expression on their face as they try to take everything in. It's even easier to spot new English people as they have the same blank expression but also are very pale!
Josh's treatment took about 35 minutes today and was followed by a trip upstairs to receive another toy. Josh chose a Scooby Doo art set, which inspired his choice of graduation cake! We think Josh has finally chosen a Scooby Doo cake (after changing his mind several times!), but this cake isn't to be eaten, Josh just wants it for everyone to look at!! We will post some pictures tomorrow for you to see if he did finally choose his cake!
Most of the afternoon was spent inside as we had a taste of England (all be it about 20 degrees warmer!) as the heavens opened and it got very wet.
