We were back in England less than a week before we had our first appointment back in the NHS! This was a catch up with Josh's oncologist at The Christie hospital in Manchester. (The Christie is a specialist cancer hospital)
They looked at Josh's back (which is the same as it was in Florida) and have photographed it so that it can be monitored easily over time. They are booking his post proton MRI scan at The Royal Manchester Children's Hospital for the middle of August. It's frustrating having to wait for the appointment to be sent to us and even more frustrating that we won't get the results until September! We are still amazed at how different it is to the hospitals in America where everything happened instantly!!
It's certainly been a huge culture shock returning to England, and we miss Florida already!!
