Sun, sea and sedation!

Today has been yet another sunny day which has been lovely, as we enjoyed some time down at Atlantic beach.

Lonnie enjoying the beach!
Unfortunately Josh wasn't able to enjoy the sunshine today as he is still suffering the after effects of the sedation he was given for his CT simulation yesterday. He has been very aggressive, tired and suffering from hallucinations. We have been told that these should wear off soon though.

We have a break from hospitals until Tuesday as everyone is enjoying a four day weekend here as we celebrate Memorial day this weekend! We are quite excited about the celebrations and fun that the weekend is going to bring!
Also looking forward to relaxing in the sun for a few days!

We are still amazed with how friendly everyone is here! We met a lovely man from Manchester who attends the church we will be going to in Jax! The motto that we were told whilst sat at the hospital was: "This isn't a room full of strangers, just a room full of friends you haven't met yet!" It seems this may well be true!
